PROJECT DESCRIPTION

My role on this project: Designer & Illustrator

What tools have I used?: Illustrator and Photoshop

Client: Personal Project for Master’s Degree in Web & App Development. Every student had to build a website for a Business Association.

Why?: Instead of using photographs for each section, I wanted to increase the visual quality of the website with illustrations about business and co-working spaces.

As a trend in 2019, vector illustrations make websites more relevant. On the one hand, in these custom made illustrations I have decided not to design realistic human-beings: rounded shapes, no faces or small feet. On the other hand, bright colours and gradients match great with this kind of illustration, make them stand out. Finally, irregular shapes and lines as backgrounds give them a surreal touch that provides them with balance and harmony.
