Isometric World Scenarios


My role on this project: Designer & Illustrator

What tools have I used?: Illustrator

Client: Personal Project for an illustration collection.

Why?: This is an special project for me because it is the first isometric illustration that I have ever made. After playing the video game ‘Monument Valley’, I was looking forward to creating my own isometric world. This first illustration describes two Gods who protect this red and orange temple. Also, I’ve found the inspiration to create it from other video games too like Crash Bandicoot or Pac-Man.

Otherwise, I wanted to put this scenario floating in the sky. That is why the light blue is the predominant colour in the background. Gradients, lights and shadows have a crucial meaning on this design. They make the shapes more tridimensional and increase the isometric perspective.
